The Ogun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has embarked on an ambitious membership drive, aiming to expand its base and foster greater political participation among the people. The party's resolve to encourage popular engagement has led to the commencement of registration for new members across all 236 wards in the state.
The exercise will witness the distribution of membership cards at various ward headquarters across the state. Both existing and prospective members have been urged to visit their respective ward secretariats to collect their membership cards.
The party emphasizes that this registration presents a golden opportunity for new and intending members to become card-carrying members of the Ogun State PDP.
Asiwaju Akinloye Bankole, the State Party Publicity Secretary, expressed optimism about the exercise, highlighting its significance in strengthening the party's grassroots presence. With the 2027 elections on the horizon, the Ogun PDP aims to create an inclusive platform for all citizens who share its vision for progress and development.
